AMC Smart OR (operating room) System design won the iF Design Award, one of the world-renowned design prizes, in the service design concepts category.

The Smart OR System design is an R&D Support Project for Research-driven Hospitals, which was conceived by the Innovation Design Center in cooperation with LG Electronics. When applied to clinical practice, the system is expected to provide diverse information through a large integrated screen to allow smooth information flow among the medical staff, increase work efficiency, and reduce the risk of infection by using contactless methods such as face, voice, and gesture recognition.
