Delegations from Manzana Royal Hospital in Eswatini, a country in Southern Africa, and from Hebron Medical Center in Cambodia visited Asan Medical Center (AMC) in the morning and afternoon on August 4, respectively. The guests toured around AMC Cancer Institute, International Healthcare Center, Health Screening & Promotion Center, and Asan Memorial Hall and were all ears to the introductory presentation of AMC. The two delegations showed great interest in the medical performance and staff training of AMC and overseas visiting scholars program.
Dr. Velile Jwinini Magagula, the royal physician of Eswatini, said “How AMC has quickly grown into a world-class hospital just within 30 years is amazing. It was a great opportunity to look around the excellent medical system." Meanwhile, the guests including the medical staffs of Hebron Medical Center was made more meaningful as it was recommended by Dr. Woo Jung Kim, the Executive Director of Hebron Medical Center and the awardee of the 33rd Asan Award in 2021 for his contribution to treating diseases and training medical professionals in Cambodia.
