The 12th Neurosurgical Forum was held on February 10, under the theme of ‘Innovation Challenge and Progress in Benign Brain Tumors.’ The forum was attended by 60 medical professionals in the field of brain tumor treatment. During the forum, lectures and discussions were held on topics such as surgical approach and evidence-based treatments of cavernous sinus meningioma, skull base reconstruction strategy, hypofractionation for skull base perioptic tumors, and surgical approach and dissection for vestibular schwannomas.
Professor Sang Ryong Jeon, the Chair of the Department of Neurosurgery, said, “As this forum is held off-line for the first time in three years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I hope it will serve as an opportunity to share the latest information on brain tumor anatomy and surgical approaches and contribute to patient treatment and research.”
