The delegation from Amgen, a multinational pharmaceutical company, including Executive Vice President David Reese, visited Asan Medical Center on March 31.

As the first hospital in Korea to sign a partnership agreement with Amgen in December of last year to promote clinical research, a meeting was held with the visitors, attended by Professor Chong Jai Kim, Chairman of Asan Institute for Life Sciences & Chief Research Officer, Professor Tae Won Kim, President of AMC Cancer Institute, Professor Joon Woo Bahn, Chief Director for Clinical Trial Center, and other medical staff.

During the meeting, Amgen's research and development strategies and AMC's research achievements were presented. Furthermore, the attendees discussed networking with leading hospitals worldwide for R&D collaborations in cancer drug development.
