On August 7, Asan Medical Center was visited by a delegation from Singapore General Hospital, including Professor Ruban Poopalalingam, Chairman of the Medical Board, and Professor Kenneth Tan Boon Kiat, Head of Emergency Medicine. Singapore General Hospital is the oldest hospital under the Singapore Ministry of Health, and it has maintained a collaborative relationship with Asan Medical Center based on an agreement since 2018.
This visit was organized at the request of Singapore General Hospital, preparing to establish a new ER center. The delegation visited Asan Medical Center to benchmark various facilities, including the Emergency Center and Pediatric Emergency Center. They also toured the International Healthcare Center, Health Screening & Promotion Center, Simulation Center, and other areas.
