The delegation from Jiangsu Province Hospital of China visited Asan Medical Center for a two-day visit starting on September 13th. Jiangsu Province Hospital is the largest comprehensive hospital in the Jiangsu region, boasting a capacity of 4,500 beds. Notably, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between Asan Medical Center and Jiangsu Province Hospital in 2014, fostering active collaboration in the fields of medical treatment, research, and education. Since 2010, a total of 52 medical professionals from Jiangsu Province Hospital have undergone training at Asan Medical Center.
Mr. Ding Qiang, the President of Jiangsu Province Hospital, led a delegation comprising six members. During their visit, they engaged in a variety of activities, including participation in conferences on liver transplantation and hepatobiliary surgery. They also had the opportunity to tour prominent facilities such as the AMC Cancer Institute, Asan Institute for Life Sciences, and the Center for Infection Control. Additionally, the delegation observed surgical procedures, gaining valuable insights and experiences.
