Newsweek, a U.S. newsweekly magazine, annually announces the results of evaluations for the ‘World's Best Hospitals’ and ‘World's Best Specialized Hospitals,’ conducted together with the global research firm, Statista. An invited lecture by Dr. Lucas Kwietniewski, Director of Health Care Analysis at Statista, who directly conducts the evaluations, was held on March 15th at Asan Medical Center.

The lecture was attended by hospital leadership including President Seung-Il Park of Asan Medical Center, Vice President & Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Je-Hwan Lee, and President Tae Won Kim of AMC Cancer Institute. The lecture introduced the excellent treatment outcomes of Asan Medical Center and Cancer Institute, followed by a presentation by Dr. Lucas Kwietniewski on an overview of Newsweek's evaluation of the world's best hospitals, evaluation criteria, and methods, along with a question-and-answer session.
