On July 18, executives and medical staff from the National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS) visited Asan Medical Center to discuss collaborative strategies in the field of cardiology. The NHCS, a subsidiary of Singapore’s largest healthcare group, SingHealth, has maintained a close partnership with AMC Heart Institute since 2019.

The meeting was attended by over ten representatives from the NHCS, including Dr. Yeo Khung Keong, CEO of NHCS, as well as representatives from Asan Medical Center, including Professor Jong-Min Song, President of AMC Heart Institute, Professor Sung-Ho Jung, Director of the Valvular Heart Disease Center, and Professor Gi-Byoung Nam, Head of Digital Heart Institute Development. The gathering featured presentations on the cardiac research environment and major ongoing research initiatives of Asan Medical Center, followed by discussions on potential areas for clinical collaboration.
