On September 5, Asan Medical Center entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Intuitive Surgical, a leading company in surgical robotics. Since establishing an MOU for mutual development in 2017, the two organizations have maintained a close collaborative relationship aimed at advancing clinical practices.

As an international center for robotic surgery training, Asan Medical Center plans to further systematize educational programs for both domestic and international medical professionals as part of this agreement. Additionally, Asan Medical Center will participate in pilot studies for new products. Through these initiatives, Asan Medical Center is expected to enhance its competitiveness and global recognition in the field of robotic surgery.
