The 30th TCTAP 2025, an international conference on coronary intervention, organized by the CardioVascular Research Foundation (CVRF) chaired by Endowed-Chair Professor Seung-Jung Park and the Asan Medical Center (AMC) Heart Institute, was held from April 23 to 26 at COEX in Seoul. TCTAP is a leading international academic conference in the Asia-Pacific region, annually attended by global experts in the field of cardiology, and this year marks its 30th edition since its inception in 1995.
This year’s conference brought together over 3,100 cardiovascular medicine specialists from 72 countries, including world-renowned scholars such as Professor Martin B. Leon (USA), Professor David Paul Taggart (UK), Professor Antonio Colombo (Italy), and Professor Takashi Kubo (Japan) who participated as featured speakers. The program covered a wide range of topics, including coronary intervention, endovascular therapy, structural heart and valvular disease, left main coronary artery disease, cardiovascular imaging and physiology. Each session offered in-depth discussions, from fundamental knowledge to the latest research trends. In particular, the live case sessions received strong positive feedback, as 10 leading centers including Asan Medical Center, Clinique Pasteur Toulouse (France), and Shonan Kamakura General Hospital (Japan) demonstrated cutting-edge techniques with direct clinical relevance.
At the 30th anniversary ceremony held on April 24, Chairman Mong-Joon Chung of the Asan Foundation, attended to offer his congratulations and words of encouragement to the AMC Heart Institute faculty, who have led and nurtured the growth of the TCTAP conference over the years.
Endowed-Chair Professor Seung-Jung Park of the Division of Cardiology, said, “I would like to sincerely thank everyone who has supported the TCTAP over the past 30 years. We will continue striving to advance cardiovascular research and uphold our commitment to academic excellence.”
