The Division of Gastroenterology from Asan Medical Center hosted the Asan International Digestive Disease Symposium (AIDDS) 2025 on August 1 and 2 at East Building Seminar Room 1 at Asan Medical Center. The symposium was held in the format of a roundtable discussion, where experts from Korea, Japan, and Taiwan shared in-depth insights on the latest advances in pancreaticobiliary and upper gastrointestinal diseases.

 

The AIDDS 2025 featured presentations and discussions on key topics, including treatment strategies for malignant gastric outlet and duodenal obstruction, endoscopic treatment of duodenal papillary tumors, endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) for elderly patients with gastric lesions, and paradigm shifts in the diagnosis and treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
