NEWS Medical Volunteer Service for Foreign Migrant Residents 2025.08.25

On August 3, the Asan Medical Center volunteer medical team provided free healthcare services at the Yongin Immigrant Support Center to promote the health of foreign migrant residents. Since last year, Asan Medical Center has continued these volunteer activities in partnership with the center. This time, eight staff members including doctors, nurses, clinical pathologists, and Radiologic Technologists participated in the service, offering blood tests, electrocardiograms, X ray examinations, and medications to 46 foreign residents aged 19 and older living in Yongin.

 

Da Yeon Lee from the Department of Nuclear Medicine shared, “As a nurse taking part in a medical volunteer program for the first time, I felt proud and fulfilled to be able to provide meaningful help to those in need.”
