Professor Hyung-Don Kim from the Division of Oncology of Asan Medical Center; Juno Yoo, Fellow in the Division of Gastrointestinal Surgery of Asan Medical Center; and Yuna Lee, Resident in the Department of Internal Medicine of Asan Medical Center, received awards at the Korea International Gastric Cancer Week (KINGCA WEEK 2025), held from September 25 to 27.

Professor Hyung-Don Kim received the Best Oral Presentation Award for his study titled “Predictive value of insertion/deletion mutations in gastric cancer patients treated with nivolumab plus chemotherapy.”
Fellow Juno Yoo earned the Best Poster Award for his presentation, “Comparative analysis of standard oncologic outcomes and prognostic factors between neoadjuvant chemotherapy and upfront surgery in resectable advanced gastric cancer.”

Resident Yuna Lee received the Best Oral Presentation Award for her research, “Predictive significance of homologous recombination–related gene mutations on survival outcomes in gastric cancer patients receiving first-line nivolumab plus chemotherapy.”
