The Asan–Osaka Partnership Forum, hosted by Asan Medical Center Heart Institute and joined by Japan’s National Cerebral and Cardiovascular Center and The University of Osaka Hospital, was held on September 20 in Seminar Room 5, East Building of Asan Medical Center
The forum brought together over 50 cardiovascular experts from Korea and Japan, featuring presentations and discussions on topics such as long-term surgical outcomes of infective endocarditis, future prospects of heart transplantation, research updates from next-generation investigators, and international collaborative research.
Professor Joon Bum Kim from the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery at Asan Medical Center, who co-organized the program, remarked, “We hope this forum will serve as a platform to share the latest insights and clinical experiences in Asian cardiac surgery and foster international collaboration through joint research between Korea and Japan.”
