The 10th COMPLEX PCI 2025 (International Conference on Complex Percutaneous Coronary Intervention) will be held on November 27 (Thursday) and 28 (Friday) at Grand Walkerhill Seoul. The conference aims to provide young cardiologists from the Asia-Pacific region with an opportunity to learn from the expertise and insights of leading global scholars in the field.

Hosted by the CardioVascular Research Foundation (CVRF) (Chairman Seung-Jung Park, Endowed-Chair Professor of the Division of Cardiology from Asan Medical Center) and supported by Asan Medical Center Heart Institute, COMPLEX PCI is one of the leading international conferences in the Asia-Pacific region. The event features world-renowned experts in interventional cardiology who deliver lectures and perform live procedures, sharing practical techniques for treating complex coronary artery diseases with young physicians and medical professionals.

Marking its 10th anniversary this year, COMPLEX PCI will be held under the theme “Make it simple! : Technical Forum A to Z.”

In particular, world-renowned cardiologists including Endowed-Chair Professor Seung-Jung Park, Professor Duk-Woo Park, and Professor Jung-Min Ahn from the Division of Cardiology at Asan Medical Center, along with Professor Antonio Colombo from Italy, Professor Takashi Akasaka from Japan, and Professor Hsien-Li Kao from Taiwan, will take part in the conference to share the latest medical knowledge and advancements in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

On the first day of the conference, lecture and discussion based workshops will cover topics such as left main and multivessel disease, bifurcation lesions, cardiovascular imaging and physiology, chronic total occlusion, high-risk interventions, and calcified lesions. Through real clinical cases, the sessions will provide new perspectives and practical guidelines for diagnosis and treatment.

The highlight of the second day will be the live procedure sessions, broadcast in real time from 13 participating centers including Asan Medical Center, Seoul National University Hospital, Nanjing First Hospital in China, and Toyohashi Heart Center in Japan. Through expert commentary and panel discussions, participants will gain firsthand exposure to complex interventional techniques, followed by special lectures from leading cardiovascular specialists on challenging patient cases.

Moreover, during the two-day case presentation sessions, participants will share treatment approaches for various cardiovascular diseases through submitted cases from countries including Taiwan, Russia, Malaysia, and Mexico. These presentations will also be available for viewing on the conference website’s ‘E-Science Station.’

In addition, the conference will feature a symposium organized by the Korea Cardiovascular Technology Association for nurses and radiologic technologists, as well as training courses and satellite symposia where participants can experience the latest interventional devices and present related clinical cases. An exhibition hall within the venue will also showcase a wide range of medical devices, equipment, and pharmaceuticals.
