A research team led by Professors Dong-Ho Lee and Sehan Park of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Asan Medical Center received second prize in the Clinical Research Paper category at the 53rd Annual Meeting of the Cervical Spine Research Society, held in Washington, D.C., from December 3 to 6 last year.
The Cervical Spine Research Society is the longest-standing and most prestigious international academic society in the field of cervical spine disorders and treatment. The team was recognized for their study titled “Impact of Foraminal Height on Outcomes of Posterior Cervical Foraminotomy in Cervical Radiculopathy.”
In addition, Professor Dong-Ho Lee also received third prize for a separate study entitled “Effects of Laminar Hinge Fracture on Postoperative Recovery and Radiographic Changes Following Cervical Laminoplasty.”
