PEOPLE Professor Ho-Seok Sa Elected Vice President of the Asia-Pacific Society of Ophthalmic Oncology and Pathology (APSOOP) 2026.03.12

Professor Ho-Seok Sa of the Department of Ophthalmology at Asan Medical Center has been elected vice president of the Asia Pacific Society of Ophthalmic Oncology and Pathology (APSOOP) at the society’s general assembly recently held in Hong Kong.

 

Founded in 2013, the APSOOP promotes research and advances in the treatment of ocular tumors across the Asia Pacific region. The society includes ophthalmology experts from countries such as Korea, China, Japan, Australia, and India.

 

Professor Ho-Seok Sa was elected in recognition of his continued research on eyelid and orbital tumors and his active participation in international conferences, where he has delivered numerous lectures and contributed to strengthening the society’s academic standing.

 

His two year term will run from March 2026.
