The 31st International Conference on Coronary Intervention, TCTAP 2026, hosted by the CardioVascular Research Foundation (CVRF) (Chairman Seung-Jung Park, Endowed-Chair Professor of the Division of Cardiology from Asan Medical Center) and supported by the Asan Medical Center Heart Institute, will be held for four days from April 29 to May 2, 2026, at COEX in Seoul.

Since its inaugural meeting at Asan Medical Center in 1995, the International Conference on Coronary Intervention, TCTAP, has grown into one of the leading academic conferences in the Asia Pacific region, attracting approximately 3,000 cardiovascular specialists from around 50 countries each year.

At this year’s conference, sessions will cover a wide range of topics, including coronary intervention, valvular and structural heart disease, endovascular therapy, left main coronary artery disease, cardiovascular imaging and physiology, and chronic total occlusion. The program will provide in depth discussions spanning from fundamental knowledge to advanced technologies and innovative treatment strategies, reflecting the latest global trends in cardiovascular intervention.

Renowned experts in cardiology from around the world will participate as faculty, including Antonio Colombo of Italy, David Paul Taggart of the United Kingdom, Eberhard Grube of Germany, Kenya Nasu of Japan, and Shaoliang Chen of China.

The live case session, a highlight of the conference, will feature participation from nine centers across seven countries, including Asan Medical Center, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in the United States, Fuwai Hospital in China, Toyohashi Heart Center in Japan, and National Taiwan University Hospital in Taiwan. Procedures performed in real clinical settings will be broadcast in real time, accompanied by expert commentary and in depth discussions by leading cardiologists. The session is expected to provide valuable insights into complex interventional strategies and clinical decision making.

In addition, the conference will host the 13th TCTAP Best Young Scientist Award, aimed at discovering and encouraging the next generation of researchers who will lead future cardiovascular research, as well as the 16th Master of the Masters award ceremony, which honors globally renowned scholars who have made outstanding contributions to the field of cardiology.

The abstract and case presentation sessions will provide selected young presenters, chosen through a rigorous review process, with valuable opportunities to share their clinical research findings and engage with leading experts in the field. Accepted studies will be available on the conference website, featuring a total of 79 abstracts and 216 case presentations.

In addition, the conference will offer a variety of programs, including hands on training courses designed to enhance skills in complex interventional techniques, satellite symposia introducing clinical cases and procedural approaches using the latest medical devices, partnership sessions in collaboration with 10 international academic societies from the United States, Europe, Japan, China, Singapore, and Hong Kong, and the Korean Cardiovascular Technology Association (KCTA) Symposium for nurses and radiologic technologists in Korea.

Pre registration is available through the official website until April 17.

Endowed-Chair Professor Seung-Jung Park of the Division of Cardiology from Asan Medical Center and Co Chair of the conference, said, “Since its inception in 1995, the International Conference on Coronary Intervention has grown into a leading academic meeting representing the Asia Pacific region. We have prepared a diverse range of programs this year, and we hope the conference will serve as a platform where cardiovascular experts from around the world come together to discuss various aspects of heart disease, while fostering active academic exchange and professional networking.”
