Began making donations during the COVID-19 pandemic to support healthcare workers and pediatric patients, marking his third act of generosity

Actor Yoo Hae-jin, who brought laughter and comfort to audiences through his acclaimed performance in the film The King’s Warden, recently donated 100 million KRW to Asan Medical Center to support cancer treatment.

He said, “I decided to make this donation in the hope that cancer patients will overcome their difficult treatment journey and return to their everyday lives. I also hope that many patients will be able to receive comfortable and safe treatment in a better environment.”

Yoo Hae-jin first donated 50 million KRW to Asan Medical Center in 2022, when COVID-19 was still widespread, to support healthcare workers and help pediatric patients receive treatment. He made an additional donation of 50 million KRW in 2023, bringing his total contributions to Asan Medical Center to 200 million KRW with this latest donation.

Asan Medical Center plans to use Yoo’s donation to establish advanced treatment systems for cancer patients and improve the treatment environment.
