Asan Medical Center recently announced that global beauty platform company Goodai Global donated KRW 100 million to support medical expenses for underprivileged women patients facing financial hardship.
At a plaque presentation ceremony held at Asan Medical Center on July 1, President Seung-Il Park of Asan Medical Center, and Joo-hyuk Cheon, CEO of Goodai Global, along with Gi Rok Choi, Chief Legal Officer of Goodai Global, shared their appreciation and gratitude for the donation.
A representative of Goodai Global said, “We hope this donation will provide meaningful support to women patients who may be hesitating or even forgoing essential medical treatment due to financial difficulties. We will continue to carry out social contribution activities that help women lead healthier and more independent lives.”
Asan Medical Center plans to use the donation to cover medical expenses for underprivileged women patients, with priority given to those suffering from serious illnesses or requiring emergency surgery.
Meanwhile, Goodai Global operates several K-beauty brands that are rapidly expanding their presence in the global beauty market, including Beauty of Joseon, TIRTIR, SKIN1004, and Round Lab.
